MY STORY
When I was little, there wasn’t a morning where I wouldn’t start my day by watching the Today Show. I remember thinking how cool it would be to have a job like Kathie Lee and Hoda. When I was 14, I decided to Google what the news anchors studied, and that’s when I found out about Broadcast Journalism. Ever since, my passion and understanding for storytelling has only gotten stronger.
I enjoy standing in front of a camera delivering news and information, but the most special and rewarding experiences I have had are the ones that requires me to step away from in front of the camera to let the stories tell themselves, while I’m just there to capture it through the lens behind the camera. I am grateful for the people that have allowed me into their lives and homes to trust me to tell their story.
I always strive to find new ways to tell stories and connect with people, while meeting deadlines under pressure and staying organized. I posses strong leadership skills, but value working as a team player. I’m excited to see what life after Graduate School has to offer within a career in journalism.
